About STEP importer for SketchUp

SimLab plugin for SketchUp, enables users to import STEP models to Google SketchUp. The plugin imports geometries, colors, and normals. The plugin is supported on Windows and Mac operating systems.

How to use the plugin?

After installing the plugin, it automatically registers itself in Google SketchUp, and adds a new SimLab sub menu under Plugins. The user will be able to import SolidWorks models by clicking the menu  SimLab -> Import.

The Import window will open, where you can select the STEP file model you want to import and click Open. To select form STEP files only, you can select STEP from the supported file formats in the Import window.
