VR/AR Mobile Viewer App
 
SimLab introduces a new and innovative mobile app for Android devices (iOS later) which allow user to live models and experiences exported from SimLab Showroom, also users can view any 360 degree (Panorama) images rendered by SimLab Composer or any third party.
 
 
 
Features of the mobile VR viewer:
 
  • 3D Viewer support: 3D View mode allows the user to view and share 3D models with others, The user can use finger gestures to rotate and zoom the scene
  • VR experience support: VR mode allows using a mobile VR head set, to view 3D models in a VR experience.
  • Augmented Reality (AR): The AR mode allows the user to place a 3D model in a real environment while maintaining the full 3D model interactivity.

  • Light baking support: To compensate for lower CPU power available on the mobile devices, without reducing output quality, SimLab VR Mobile viewer supports reading light baking results generated using SimLab Composer.

  • To use our SimLab AR/VR Viewer application on the mobile or tablet, following the steps below:
 
a. Install the SimLab AR/VR Viewer application from play store, when the installer finish open the application, the screen below will appear.
 
 
     1) In this menu user can:
Back to previous screen.
 Exit from Application.
Go to application help.
 
     2) 3D Viewer Mode
     3) VR Viewer Mode with VR head set
     4) Augmented Reality (AR) Mode
     5) Add a new 3d model
     6) 3D Model
     7) 3D Model with 360 Grid Technology mark
 
 
 
b. To add a new model, you must export (.vrpackage) file into the Device, Google Drive or Dropbox, then press Add 3D Model and import the file.
When user import the model in the SimLab Application, it will appear automatically below its appropriate viewer mode, for example the models that support the 360 Grid Technology will not appear below the AR Mode.
 
c. Now, the model will appear in the screen, select the Viewer Mode at the top of the screen then Press on thumbnail of the scene to access it, Use White circles at the corners of the bottom to look around and interact in 3D Viewer Mode.
