Advanced Settings in SimLab plugin for Maya
In Maya under SimLab menu, the Advanced Settings option provides users with the ability to auto scale imported model(s). Auto scalling scales the model to make it appear clearly in the current view. This option is useful when working with a single model.
In case of dealing with multiple models in the scene, this option should be un checked. In this case the user has the option of applying the desired scale on the imported model.

3D PDF importer to Maya

Supported platforms

How to use the plugin?
Installing the plugin adds the menu SimLab to Maya. The plugin is supported on both Windows, and Mac, operating systems.


Requesting a trial license
After installing the plugin, start Maya and click the menu SimLab and select Register, which will open the license dialog.

Click Request License (Full / Evaluation), and fill the needed information. If you do not enter a license key, it means you will get a trial license.
Click Auto Request, and the license will be automatically generated and sent to you by email.
After receiving the license, start Maya and select Register from the
SimLab menu, then click Activate License
and select the license file
you received.
