About SketchUp for Maya Plugin

The plugin enables users to add SketchUp import capability to Autodesk Maya.  Having access to SketchUp models will enable users to import 3D models from 3D Warehouse to complete 3D scenes in Maya, and will allow architects to use Maya’s great functionality in rendering and animation to create walkthroughs and presentations.

How to use the plugin?

Installing the plugins adds the menu SimLab to Maya. The plugin is supported on both Windows, and Mac, operating systems.

 

 The user will be able to import new SketchUp files by clicking the menu  SimLab -> Import, and selecting the SketchUp file to be imported
