You install SimLab floating server on one windows machine, and you can install the Plugins on any number of machines.
Pay for an upgrade Only If you had already bought a previous version of the plugin and want to use it with the newer version of Maya.
Go to SimLab Tab and find 3DS Importer Tab as shown in the image below:
Click on Settings to open the settings panel that contains importer settings and licensing information. Activating and getting a trial license can also be done from this panel.
